Edward Cliff, MD

Edward Cliff, MD, is a hematology registrar (akin to a fellow in the United States) from Australia and a postdoctoral research fellow in the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from Monash University, in Melbourne, and undertook a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree in diabetes physiology as a visiting student at the University of Oxford. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and recently finished his Master of Public Health degree at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His research interests include CAR T-cell therapy, drug pricing, clinical trial design, lymphoma, and myeloma. His writing has been published in The New York Times, NPR, and The Age, and in medical journals, including The Lancet Haematology and JAMA Oncology.​
