Blood Cancers Today Editor-in-Chief Sagar Lonial, MD, FACP, of the Winship Cancer Institute at the Emory University School of Medicine, shares his top highlights in multiple myeloma research from the 2023 European Hematology Association (EHA) Congress and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meeting.

“Between EHA and ASCO, there were a lot of really exciting updates on combinations of T-cell engagers with anti-CD38 antibodies, T-cell engagers targeting BCMA with GPCR5D,” Dr. Lonial said.

Dr. Lonial also speaks about a symposium he took part in during the 2023 European Hematology Association Congress. A discussion during the symposium focused on BCMA-directed therapy and how to “better optimize treatments for our patients with myeloma, he said.
