First, Chopra discussed the PETAL Consortium, a comprehensive international coalition of T-cell lymphoma experts spanning 19 sites and 10 countries.

“PETAL’s mission is to integrate [artificial intelligence] informed digital interface as a tool to facilitate clinical decisions, refine and develop causal inference approaches to inform clinical trial design, personalized therapies, and estimate prognosis, which will broadly be applicable to all disease scenarios and ultimately support a clinical trial network across the globe for expedited approval and access,” Chopra explained. “PETAL’s first initiative to benchmark and predict global T-cell lymphoma outcomes with minimal data effectively developed a novel causal inference method that is useful for specific cases with limited patient information.”
