Rachel Thijssen, PhD, Discusses Young EHA Research Sessions

Rachel Thijssen, PhD, of the Amsterdam University Medical Center, shares highlights from one of the Young European Hematology Association (EHA) Research sessions during the EHA 2023 Congress.

Dr. Thijssen served as chair for the Young EHA session on senescence, aging, and cell death, which examined the topics in the context of hematologic malignancies.

“Young EHA is a really great session because it’s mostly based on research, you will hear all the research talks,” she said.

The Young EHA sessions are important ways to give “new leaders in translational research” a “platform to present their data,” Dr. Thijssen emphasized.
