“The treatment landscape in lymphoma is just expanding so quickly, it’s really kind of hard to keep up,” she said. “That’s what’s most intriguing to me about the SOHO meeting, is you get updates on some of the latest studies that are potentially practice changing.”

Dr. Nastoupil spoke about how the annual meeting can help clinicians learn about ways to apply knowledge from the latest research.

“You’ll get some practical feedback from clinicians and experts who are involved in these studies,” she said, noting that the meeting can help attendees take the “hot-off-the-presses” research and move it into practice.

Dr. Nastoupil also highlighted what she was looking forward to at the meeting.

“I’m excited about the TRANSCEND FL study. We’ll see updates with liso-cel in mantle cell lymphoma at this meeting,” she said. “We’re going to see updates on bispecifics in both large cell and follicular [lymphoma] and even a little bit in mantle cell lymphoma … That’s generally the trend that we’re excited about in B-cell lymphoma, the utilization of T cells to eradicate tumor cells.”
