Highlights in Myelofibrosis Research at ASH 2024: Experts’ Selections

At the 66th American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting & Exposition, Prithviraj Bose, MD, of MD Anderson Cancer Center moderated a discussion panel of myelofibrosis experts. The panel included Francesca Palandri, MD, PhD, of Università di Bologna, Andrew Kuykendall, MD, of Moffitt Cancer Center, and Lucia Masarova, MD, of MD Anderson Cancer Center.

In this segment, the panel members state which new research in myelofibrosis presented at the Meeting they were most intrigued by. Their topics ranged from allogeneic transplantation timing, to combination therapies, to work on specific agents. Dr. Masarova also went into detail on her study work on umbilical cord-derived T regulatory cells and ruxolitinib.
